43rd Birth Anniversary of Evergreen hero MNM
Evergreen hero MNM celebrated his 43rd Birth Anniversary on March 2nd with an elaborate luncheon at MNM Club in Mangalore.
Eight MNMs enjoyed a sumptuous meal with Prof. Narendra Nayak, the National President of Federation of Rationalists Association(India) playing the role of Chief Guest.
Interestingly MNM shares his birthday with the British actor Daniel Craig, the reigning Bond 007, who was also born on 2nd March 1968.
More celebrations are planned during the day and night ….

MNMs Great Alambe Lunch
When it rains it is always expected that there is something special… It indeed was really special on Friday.
Thunder is the spice of the monsoons and the Taste of Thunder is not known to many… Who else but Great MNM has a recipe for every season…Forget seasons… He has solutions for every day…
Thunder is the spice of the monsoons and the Taste of Thunder is not known to many… Who else but Great MNM has a recipe for every season…Forget seasons… He has solutions for every day…
These days it is raining cats and dogs, but MNM is not perturbed. He is serious to the core. Not just for himself but for all his friends…
Just imagine MNM spending 5 and half hours concentrating on peeling the impossible…
We were all excited when we got two packets of the Thunder Mushroom to our office… But who will get the raw Alambe ready for a great dish the next day…? Who else but the one and only ……..
Thanks to two of his friends (MNM Adventure Club members), we had the stink of raw mushrooms the next morning… But that all turned so very delicious and the fragrance spread all over to the envy of the neighbours…
It has been a great Alambe Lunch. Many takers some of whom were unexpected… It was surprising to see the concentration of some who have always been termed as unfocussed and irresponsible. But they prove all their critics wrong. One only wondered if they had shown the same dedication to their regular work…!
There was a guest who was getting ready to prepare her lunch and landed up to enjoy the luncheon meeting. There was yet another who did not know what was going on… A great lunch anyway.
However, the dark clouds still persists… The lunch was expected to be followed by a relishing and spirited evening which did not happen. What a tragic end to a love story…

Melrick Crasta
Crazy Guy
Cricket craze is common among youngsters. But here is Melrick Crasta who has an uncommon craze. This third year bio-chemistry student of St Aloysius College in Mangalore, is so crazy of lizards, frogs and snakes that he enjoys catching them.
He handles the little creatures he catches with great care. He holds them on his palms, feels them, tries to observe their behaviour when he holds them and then lets them free. His craze for lizards and frogs developed when he was in seventh standard, as he watched Discovery channel. Melrick has so far caught a worm snake, a rat snake and says the next on his list was to catch an Emerald Tree Python.
Anything can drive you crazy, But it’s lizards and frogs that drives this young man crazy. Isn’t it?

[[Akki Boy]]
Adventure is his second name!
He’s the one guy that girls would love to fall for - if only they knew him. He’s Akhilesh, a shy young lad of 25 whose love for adventure is unfortunately greater than his liking for cute babes. From dense jungles to mighty mountains, he’s been there, done that. Pronto.
A young engineer, an alumni of PA College of Engineering of the city, he is presently the blue eyed boy of L&T in Mysore. His dad, Gokul Bhat is famous for being the funiest man in any party. His mom Anitha is the nicest lady you can find. His friends are all the best people around. No wonder he’s grown up to be the most loveable lad he is. All the best, Akki.
